Youth Committee Initiatives at Mckinney Masjid
The MIA Youth Committee is comprised of a dynamic group of individuals within our community, dedicated to empowering and nurturing the spiritual, social, and personal growth of our young members. Our mission is to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where Muslim youth can connect with their Deen, engage with their peers, and make a positive impact on both the masjid level and the broader community. Our goal is to cultivate a generation of confident, compassionate, and well-rounded Muslim youth who are committed to the Book of Allah and follow the example of His Beloved Messenger (saw).

Key Objectives:
Spiritual Growth: We aim to facilitate the spiritual development of our youth by offering Islamic education, mentorship, and opportunities for establishing and deepening their connection with Islam
Community Engagement: Our committee promotes active participation in mosque activities, encouraging youth to take on leadership roles and contribute to the growth and well-being of the mosque community.
Social and Personal Development: We provide a platform for personal growth, leadership development, and fostering a strong relationships among our masjid community youth.
Membership:
The MIA Youth Committee welcomes young members of our masjid, typically ranging from middle school aged to young adults. Our members are passionate about their faith, community service, and personal development. We value diversity and seek to create an inclusive space where all Muslim youth feel welcome.
